Frag Swap?
 

I was thinking of hosting a Frag Swap at my place on Sunday December 12.. a couple of hours in the afternoon. IF there is any interest.

I went to the one about a month ago with Lori.. and it was a blast and an awesome venue to swap some frags, or buy some nice local corals reasonably priced.

If there is interest, i could set up a bin of heated water to float the bags in.. and furnish some munchies.


If there is interest what I would do is open a thread for people to post pics of what they are bringing ( doesnt need to be the frag but could be of the mother colony) cause as we all know.. corals arent happy in their bags. The pictures would be tagged by the users name and then numbered.. IE Shelley #6.. and then the bag the coral is placed in numbered the same.

I would have a laptop opened to the thread so anyone could look at the pictures..

Lemme know.. if were going to do this we need to get some frags started!!

I'd come by for sure. Might even have some frags....

I had one at my place last month, we did a blind swap where people brought frags and dropped them in one of my tanks to float, at the end of the night we all grabbed something we didn't bring:) I also handed out numbers and gad s draw at the end of the night where the winner walked out with a large pipecoral:) good way to meet other reefers:) cheers

I would love to come but as it sits right now I am working that day. Could I come down a day early and scoop up all the nice stuff before Christy does?

If you come down a day early your going to spend the day with me cleaning house and mucking tanks so everything is presentable:smile: you may want to rethink that

but would that get someone the "good stuff"?? :)

LOL, I'm not sure if I'll be making this one, all depends on the timing I suppose. I'll bring a tarp just in case :razz:
