How do I post pictures

I was wondering how to show my pictures directly in my post. They are not located on a website only on my hard drive. Is this possible or do they need to be some where on the net.
Thanks
Josh

No josh the need to be on a web page somewhere.
I like how RC lets you post pics from your computer but they have to be quite undetailed to fit within their limit.

Unfortunately, you can't upload your pictures directly to this website. The best thing to do is to upload it to a website such as the one that your ISP may provide to you. Otherwise, you could find a free one or a commericial one and upload it there. I don't use external websites so I can't offer a suggestion.

If you are a member of reefcentral, you can upload your pic there and then link it here as well.

For example,

I'm not 100% what their user agreement is about this because it does use up their bandwidth when an external site accesses it. They would probably frown upon it which is why I use my own website. However, this is just for demonstration purposes. :)

Well, seeing as my pic is still up I assume that this works.

All you need to do is sign up for a free account with www.imagestation.com and upload your pics there. Open the pics from the site, copy the url to your post with the "IMG" function and there you go :)
