Update: Still doing well at 10 months.
Update: Lost the larger male at 1.5 years.
Update: Lost the female only 1 month later. (19 months)

Good fish. Keep the sand bed very tossed and cleaned.

Every 3-4 weeks, the smaller (I assume female) disappears under the rockwork for 4+ days. During this time the larger stays out-and-about but builds huge piles of sand on top of rocks and corals. I assume this behaviour is to protect the female holed-up inside. The rest of the time, they are very trouble free residents. I wonder if the behaviour would be better if they were not a pair...?
