The biggest tank to date
 
Hey all, I just wanted to share with you guys on a major project we just started for one of our good clients.

Not even sure how we got to this point:lol: but a lot off work has been put into it!

the stand before we started

that was that for the bottom glass

putting the body of the the tank want way easier :lol:

now just waiting on the welders to fabricate the upper braces and than his sumps and his underneath reef tank can be place and plumbed in

i will update with more pictures when we get back from a build out in vancouver next week, can wait until this beast is done lol

Ok that is a mother of a tank be interesting to see 3 things how you are going to move that beast, how many sumps it has and what it will look like setup.

BTW how thick is the glass on the bottom and sides

the tank is 120x96x36 about 1795 gallons

lol the tank is not moving, it is staying where it is now

as for sumps, there will be two large sumps and a rock tank under the stand


plumbing and setup will start when we get back from vancouver later next week, it should be fun lol

In the pics it looks like the tank is like 18" off the ceiling - is it? Looks like low ceiling in the basement. I'm wondering how he's going to clean 36" deep with that little space above - I'd like a video of the performance actually. :D Is it going to be a reef tank or FOWLR? Is this person a member here? I'd really like to watch the progression!

i think there was like 22 inches from tank to ceiling, we had too talk him out of going too 42 inches high when we started with the first plans lol

no unfortunately he is not a member on this forum but this will be his sixth tank from us, i do visit him quite a bit so i might be able to keep some updates on how this tank progress
