Can't wait to see you back! Been a long time.

Glad to see you still here! It has been a long time, been tossing this around for a while, life seems to have settled after a crazy few years! If we do this it’s a complete start up, I sold pretty much everything.

When in doubt just go for it! Welcome almost back =)

So awesome to see you here as well! The good thing is we take possession in the fall, so not much we will have to do right away outside, good time to get one going.

Welcome back!

If you are building your house, theres no question that you need to set one up. Its the absolute perfect opportunity to set one up and make it a natural part of the room.

If your set on 48"... hands down a 75 is the perfect medium/large sized tank! The dimensions are awesome!

Look forward to seeing this materialize!

Definitely agree. We have water roughed in for a wet bar, would be a perfect set up. I found the 180 to be too much, the 55 too small. A 75ish would be perfect. I’d get shot for buying anything now as we are purging and throwing stuff into storage, but hubby is on board.

Where is everyone getting tanks from these days? My 180 came out of Edmonton, the sump came from a store for the life of me I can’t remember the name of, but it cracked anyway.

If you have your heart set on a 4' tank, instead of just a 75g ...
Consider maybe 100g or so.
If I had the space, I would have preferred something more 4x2 or 4x2.5 and still no taller than the 21" of my 75

My last 4 have all been concept aquariums. They do just about anything and have all been quality builds.

Definitely no bigger than 4’x2’. I like the 21” height, easier to get into. We probably won’t decide until we can actually get into the house during the build.

Are you getting out or just a break?

Glad they are still around, will have to stop in and have a chat.

Totally understandable. Glad you’re still here tho! Still have your car? Travel would be an issue if we start up again, kids have grown, so tank sitters could be challenging, but there’s always a way.
