atman 2500 skimmer pump
 

so from my experience, these pumps are complete and total garbage but i have only used them with a mesh/hybrid impeller

what are your thoughts on running them with a needlewheel? will it be a more reliable pump? My main issue with them is startup problems and electrocuting me

owned 2 before both with hybrid meshwheels and never once had a startup problem UNTIL i switched to the needlewheels.
