That's a damn nice stand you've built there! And those zoos, WOW.

Thanks Wes, I can always count on you for moral support haahaa!

I have begun painting the tank this morning, should have the stand completed tonight, lighting included. I will stain it on sunday I guess.

Yep retro T5, should be bright enough for most corals in there. I will have a total build cost for all applicable equipment once I have the tank done and running.

Used 50 watt ebo-jager heater $22.45 x .75 = $16.84 (JL Aquatics)
Used Quiet-One 800 water pump $26.99 x .75 = $20.24 (MarineDepot.com)

That's my equip so far.

Lighting box:

Getting there... but I didn't like this location in the house:

http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k9...SC_0016111.jpg

To combat the high temperatures (hit 98 on the first test run) I had to add some fans to the canopy. They are stealth 80mm fans running on a 12VDC adapter.

Here is the tank in the new location, we can't take advantage of the three viewable sides but it still looks good there for now.

And the first shot at the rockwork. Tried something new!

No livestock until I get home from work. I have to leave for about 2 weeks so the tank should be near ready for livestock when I get home.
