A drill, some acrylic tubing, some putty and maybe a few zap straps

I'm in the middle of an aquascape and I am using zip ties and putty epoxy. Seems to work well so far. My only complaint is you have to have your scape decided prior to the putty. It starts to harden and detaches if you move your rocks around too much. I just decided to work in layers and epoxy them one at a time.

I called all over Edmonton looking for them at LFS. Noone had any in stock. I was directed to Rona and HD and a no go there. I just chiseled them to fit and epoxy away lol and I didn't want to buy a masonry bit either, my general purpose bit worked just fine for zip tie size holes through thin parts of the rock.

I had to go to a plastic/acrylic store to get it. It was like 5$ for a 6 ft piece.

There are many ways and product in the market to use but I found that FijiCrete to be one of the best to keep hardness and shape of the aquascape. Here is a video, a bit long but shows the work with FijiCrete
Youtube link (try not to laugh at the mistakes..lol.)

Acrylic rods and epoxy - https://www.bigreefdepot.com/Aquariu...ocks-s/125.htm

There's always a chance glues/epoxy's/cements etc won't hold or will crack, decreasing the stability of your rockwork. Drilling the rock and using acrylic rods is a definite way to prevent avalanches and potentially glass shattering rock crashes.

That being said, Eli know's his stuff with fijicrete, after all, he is the rock guy!
