I have tried this fish at least 3 times with no success.
Tried every food possible.
Personally I think this fish feeds of specific coral slime.
This fish should be left in the ocean.

Yes they are tough to keep , I only tried once could not get them eating . Maybe Myka can chime in (have not seen her for a while) but last I seen she was keeping one not sure if she was successful or not .
I have had luck with getting my blue spot boxfish to eat (very tough to get eating) using LRS reef frenzy food so maybe worth a try if you have a lfs that carry's it , they also sell fish eggs witch are meant for finicky eaters . Also maybe try adding some copepods maybe might entice him to start eating , PE calanus might work also . Good luck

I know a fellow that kept one for over a year but eventually it wouldn't eat and died he said it was one of the toughest fish he has ever had to try and feed as it was quite picky he did have success with pellets placed near where it liked to sit and seemed to like copepods as well

Hard to keep

From what I know, the panda clown goby is hard to keep because they only live in certain coral. They require a 10 gallon or larger aquarium with at least one pocillopora coral and some shaded areas for them to hide. Their diet should consist of a variety of brine shrimp, frozen mysis shrimp, table shrimp, and frozen food preparations for carnivores. Good luck!
