I received this light from another member as a trade. The LEDs turn on briefly then shut off and the status light flashes. Been collecting dust for a while thinking I'd have a reason to get it fixed but just don't have the urge to fix it.

Could be used as parts if needed. (Power supply, LED pucks, fan, housing)

I fixed one of these for a friend not long ago. It sounds like the same problem and just needed new thermal grease between LED's and sink. the thermal coupler is attached to one of the diodes and senses and overheat condition when heat is not transferring then shuts off.

if you were local I would buy right away.
