mh light bulb question
 

i am using a coralife 150w (14000k) mh clamp on fixture and need to change the bulb pretty soon.
and want to buy the new bulb in boxing day sale.
but planning to change to 20000k bulb.
want to know can i change to the other brand like ushio or megachrome 20000k? or only can use coralife bulb for coralife fixture?
if i can use the other brand, ushio and megachrome which one is better?

All the bulb sizes are universal, 150w are smaller than 250w and 400w are bigger than 250's. You should not have an issue, if your looking for just color go with a 20k, growth go with 10k, some sort of happy medium go with a 14k.

i just got phoenix 14k bulbs...they look amazing.

I don't know if waiting for boxing day will be any cheaper as they are pretty cheap already at Gold's... Pheonix and Ushio are about $60-80 depending on wattage.
