Hi Michael,

Do you have pump info like water flow gph, air flow lph, and electrical draw? I can't find this info with The Google.

Aqua-Digital 04-27-2016 01:57 PM

DC Curve A5 is 13w going up to 28w on the curve A9

Flow rates not out yet. But based on all BM skimmers this has never been lacking in the past, or will be here.

Compared to the Curve 5 / Curve 7 skimmers how would this series stack up as far as performance and noise? Any significant difference?

Good question ;)

The bodies are pretty much the same the difference is in the finer tuning the A series gives you slightly higher finish in controls and of course the DC pump which are very quiet.

It comes down to personal choice if you are a traditionalist and like the AC style pumps we are all used to (take into account the Rock pump is CSA electrically approved unlike multiple other brands) or you prefer the latest flavour in DC.

I would like to think in time DC will become the normal route over AC. for one it removes 110V from the water column. ;)

Any Canadian dealers have the A5 in stock?

Aqua-Digital 05-03-2016 08:07 PM

By late next week yes, all the major online stores and most major LFS will have them, if yours does not have one coming then let us know.

Ordered one and for better or for worse will do a review
