Cheapest place to buy new equipment in Canada

For reef tank or does it work out better to order from America??

With the current exchange rate, not likely you are going to find across the board good deals in the states right now. When the FX was closer to 90 cents I would say definitely there are deals to be had down south.

Cheapest equipment place in Canada

This is what I'm thinking so where in Canada?

Wouldn't you rather support your local fish store where you will get personalized assistance and form a good relationship?

For Fish and Coral 100% I would support my local fish store. But for equipment when I'm spending thousands of dollars every $50 difference counts.

Reef Supplies is my favorite for service and prices.

I think you're going to find that he variance from one lfs to another is pretty slight.

You might save a few bucks on one item at one, and a few on another at another.

If cost is a concern, you can always buy used.

Its actually ridiculous how many people just decide they want out of the hobby and aren't looking for a premium for goods.

Some items I'm thinking buying used but what is the life expectant like for a skimmer?.
