Vertex MH Ballast

Saw these on the new product page of JL's website. Has anyone given them a try yet or heard anything about them?

I heard they are supposed to be made in the same place as Icecap but branded Different to offer a cheeper Ballast, i had one on order but went in and picked up a galaxy instead. (It was on the shelf and was plug and play with my lumenmax 3).
