beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe the Dentist is proud of his aiptasia rock?

Oh dear.... there used to be a 29g biocube like that in the grocery store here and last time I was in I was relieved to see it converted to FW (tho - goldfish, not exactly permanent residents in a tank that size but it is a step easier than marine)

edit: Could they be yellow polyps?? (wishful)

do wonder if they maintain it themselves or paying for a service, but here's me talking with my bryosis farm. Might have to give the guy a break though, could be yellow polyps.

Those looks like yellow polyps to me. I say that while my own bryopsis farm sways in the current.

kien 12-07-2010 01:56 AM

oh.. okay.. um.. excuse me while I go mow down my yellow polyp farm..

digi 12-07-2010 03:47 AM

No they are not yellow polyps. My camera didn't get the best pics, but they are definitely aiptasia... I missed a photo of a cluster of a dozen growing on the glass.

On a side note, they are paying for maintenance. I shouldn't name names :)
