I'm in the market for a new camera which one should I get?

What are you looking for? Point & Shoot? Digital SLR?

Gotta get a Nikon :mrgreen:

What's your budget?

I don't want just a point and shoot I'm thinking of something better.

Let's say 600 to 800 dallars

TomR has a Canon G9......... the pics he has posted look awesome.

I have a Canon S5 IS......... I still have to learn how to use it properly.

If you can wait a little longer Nikon will be releasing the D90 which means you should be able to get a brand new D80 with lens kit for around $800. Can't do much better than that.

When do you think the d90 will be out?

Fess up...Do you work for Nikon?

I know they just announced the D700........ it's a full frame I think.
