Silifert calcium test kit question?

In the final step when adding drops at a time, is suppose to turn blue or actually go clear for the test to be finished? Thanks.

I was thinking .. shouldn't it be turning pink from blue? But then I realized I'm thinking of the alkalinity test from Salifert .. I can't remember what the calcium one does.

Basically though, when you're titrating, the way I read it, if it's not completely changed colour (i.e., if you add one more drop, and there's still a discernable change), then it's "not done titrating." I take the reading from "just before" that last drop where there wasn't any more change.

So if you're changing to blue, but more drops gives you clear outright, then my guess is you want to keep going until it's clear outright.

Hope this helps.

Should be a true blue with no hint of purple.
