If you are in Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Nanaimo, or Kelowna, no problem. I can pick up there too.

Thanks.

Thanks jk. Did you mean JL Aquatics? If yes, will pay them a visit. In the meantime, let me know if any fellow Canreefer has one s/he want to get rid of.

Best.

I was told by a fellow reefer that you can get the pumps at princess auto for about $13. They are blue and yellow vs. blue and white but apparently the same otherwise.

Thanks for the hot tip. I'll check it out.

Cheers.

Since my last post, the pump came back to life. However, it stopped working 2 days ago (my fault - the reservoir was out of water and the pump ran dry). It is dead now.

Really looking for a replacement pump now, new or used. Please PM me with what you have.

Thank you in advance.

Try shaking and bumping it on the bottom of a full bucket of water while the ato is cycling, I've had one stop then come back to life doing that.

My ATO pump runs dry all the time for several years, and it's still working great. It just gets air locked when it runs dry. As above, just whack it on the bottom of the bucket a few times.

Otherwise, if it really is dead the replacement pumps are only $25 new. Most LFS should have them in stock.

Update!

Tried method as suggested by both Blink & Myka and i am pleased to confirm that it worked. The pump has been working since.

A sincere Thank You to both Blink & Myka for the tip.

Cheers.
