Baby Trochus snails

A few days ago I noticed a small baby red banded snail he was so small his shell was almost flat made me think hmm where did that come from? thought maybe a hitchhiker. Well tonight during a water change I noticed about 15 or so in my sump some are fairly small and a couple are the size of dimes but their shells have a very shallow cone to it it barely come to a point. This kinda made me excited woohoo free snails, I did have snail eggs about a year ago in a different tank but I cannot imagine these are from them.
Anyone else bred or raised snails......besides freshwater those are easy

Oh and before anyone asks they are not Collonista snails I have both and I know the difference

I have a 75g LR holding tank and I have noticed that I too have baby snails. Purchased LR from a local reefer but have not got everything set up yet for salt. At first I thought me snails were collonista, but at the moment they are still to small to tell.

Do an Internet search for Stomatella Varia snails. They breed in my tanks and they look similar to what you describe.

That snail looks a lot like the ones that eat zoos, but I can't remember what they are called. They are supposed to have a red and black checkered pattern on them...
