Sorry not to side track... but why do some people say black sand is bad again??

No, just kidding, but I had some sand with black and dropped an algae magnet and whoosh !..

I don't know if its "bad" but when I ran black sand it looked great for the first few months and then it just seemed to loose it's affect and I couldn't keep it clean (pure black). I wouldn't use it again but that's just me.

I reeeeeaaaaally hope it doesn't! I just love the look of it. I suppose even if it does at least it's only in my 10g & not my 90g. That would be a PITA to change out.
