saltwater tank near a south facing window?

hi all, new here and want to get into the saltwater aquarium hobby.
i'm planning on picking up a 24G saltwater aquarium later this week but can't decide where to place it.
i mainly want to grow corals and maybe 3-4 fish in it

our home is facing north and we have patio deck on the south side.
we have a corner table on the SW side of our house where I can easily place the aquarium, the only problem is this corner is right by the glass doors to the patio.
is this an ok place to keep the aquarium?

Are you worried about the sunlight?

Aquariums near windows that get sunlight shining through will end up with algae problems almost guaranteed. You'd have to add a phosban reactor and keep your nutrients in check. The corals might love it, but you'd have to keep a very good clean up crew to keep the algae in check. Mexican turbos, Tiger cowries, etc.

thank you for the replies.

yes, still new on this hobby but from what i've been reading, there's higher algae problem when sunlight and lots of nutrients are present.
will definitely be purchasing some cleaners, how many mexican turbos, tiger cowries would I need for a small 24G tank?

Also consider the heat in the summer from the window will heat up your tanks water.

I am shutting this tank down due to lack of time but considering that this tank was right beside a south west facing window. I had great success with it. In fact not much algae, coraline and all. Heat wasnt much of an issue but it wasnt right beside the windows. Heres a photo of how far it was.

Heat may be an issue, so you might need a chiller or air conditioning if you already have that.
