Buy/sell stuff in front of store?

If you owned a car store where you sold car parts and people showed up in front of your car store to buy/sell/trade their car parts would it tick you off?

You have to take into account the amount of money those people have spent in said store to come up with those car "frags".
As well chances are they will take that money and spend it in your store

Just want to clarify that this post is in no way affiliated to or sponsored by any store or storeowner, it is a fair and interesting question I have wondered about myself( I am a car hobbyist) and support all car stores equally. I just wonder how other people felt about this.

Sorry
Being a coral/slatwater forum, thought that was what you were getting at.

I still think that's what he's getting at lol!

If I didnt sell any of the parts you needed or wanted no I wouldn't mind.

If your paying the rent/ advertising I would be pretty mad if it was my store

If I meet at a store to sell or trade frags I always go in to look no matter what , so that meeting gives you 2 chances of sales at the lfs . Without that meeting no chance . I never seen it as a bad idea so I normally recommend meeting at an lfs as a place both people know how to get to easy . Its not like your out there trying to sell your stuff to customers .

As a parts person in the automotive/transportation industry, I have had many times in the past where enthusiasts would meet in the parking lot of the parts store and shoot the breeze while trading gems amongst each other. They always came in the store after to spend money and inquire about future purchases. I don't think that people would be using the store as a selling spot but more as a safe haven and a general meeting place for enthusiasts.

Yup I get the safe place aspect. Never know who you're inviting into your home for a trade.
