Question about refugium light timing and cope pods

So im looking to have my sump light turn on when my main lights turn off to help with the ph swing. At what point should the refugium turn on? When the whites go off? When the blues go off?

Here is a pic of my lighting schedule

2nd question- how do i get the cope pods growing in my sump up into my main tank? I have chaeto growing and there is a bunch of pods in there. The section where the chaeto and pods are growing has a sponge that seperates the return section of the sump so i doubt many r getting thru the sponge. If i ran a little tube from the chaeto section down the side of rhe sponge into the return section, do you think pods would get thru the tube and then sent up into the main tank from the return pump or is that just a silly idea.

Please help, suggestions and ideas.

I wouldn't overthink the reverse cycle refugium... based on your display schedule I'd just do it 10pm to 6 or 7am.

From what I can tell you want to make a small unobstructed safe passage though the sponge? I do think it'll really help much.

If you really want more microfauna in the display, why not remove the sponge completely?

Unfortunately, i cant take the sponge because i use it to block pieces of chaeto from getting into the return section.

My sump is kinda small so i cant really move the chaeto either. Maybe ill try to run a small tube down the end side of the sponge so some pods can swin thru....ideally :) Hopeully chaeto won't get through either.

Oh I see now.

Maybe a piece of egg near the overflow to your return pump.
Or a piece of egg crate warped in some mesh.

That's the best I can come up with at the moment.
