florida rics changing colour

I shut down my 90 gallon that had 2 150W MH (14,000K) + 2 96w actinic compact fluorescent bubs. I decided to run a 30G bio cube that has 1 36W compact fluorescent bulb (10,000k) + 1 36W actinic bulb. I transferred a few LPS corals from the 90 to the 30 and interestingly, florida rics of various colours were amongst those corals. Eversince doing that, all the rics (peach/pinkish, blue and green ones (EXCEPT for the orange ones) have turned into a translucid white colour. The shapes are the same, no apparent change - just the colour. The orange ones are still bright orange with no change in colour. Anybody has ever experienced that? Your advice is appreciated.

Bleaching? Going from lots of MH to low powered PC is a big drop in lighting intensity.

Wouldn't he get a brown out instead? Less light means more zooxanthellae to capture it, in turn the coral would turn darker with more symbiote's present?

Have any photos?

I've seen corals that bleach from too little light go whitish aswell as the same result from too much light, because they're Florida rics they can take alot of light and the result is maybe the pc isn't giving them the spectrum they need to thrive, when my rics were left under a huge orange anchor because of shortage of room they were not so happy, most shrunk and were pale, they never quite recovered....

Frenchie, Does your tank get warm because heat is another factor of bleaching....

I would guess not enought light. I've found some little ones that have come loose under rocks before and they have been really translucent.

I've found that rics like a lot of light.
