Jl has there shlobster brand mag chloride I am using it works good not really bulk but only place I know of.

Ice melter has sodium chloride & magnesium chloride in it, any reason that it could not be used with Ebsom Mag sulfate to maintain the levels?

yes thats fine and expected , epsom salts is also fine to use in conjunction and recommended:)
