Blue Dolphins (cyrtocara moorii)

I got my hands on a breeding group of these beauties. (1M 3F) Anything special I should know about them? I've done about as much research as any new mom can, but if any of you have experience, I'd appreciate the inside info.

Also, does anyone know any catfish or bottom-dwellers that are compatible with them??

compatible bottom-dwellers would be synodhontis petricola or multipuntatis

or any other Syno. I like Decorous or Angelicas. Also clown loaches would be good.

May I ask where you got the group from, I am looking for the exact same fish. Any leads would be appreciated.

Kaboom... I got them from Cranbrook, BC. She sold me all she had because she was clearing out that tank. I know that Petsmart sells them for like $12 each, though... at least they do in Red Deer...

I discovered when I got home from work on Wednesday that one of the females is holding, so if the brood is successful, I will have some fry... when they are big enough, would you be interested in some?

Pics????

Also unless your tank is like 200g i would not reccomend clown loaches they get to over a foot in lenth. i would think khuli loaches all they do is hide in plant roots and craks until night when they feed on leftovers. also i have some pygmy corydoras that are very dosile.

I'll post some pics tonight, if I can push my man away from the computer lol...

I won't be putting clown loaches in there, as I want to keep this tank fairly bare-bones if you know what I mean. I managed to get a Synodontis eupterus that came from the original tank in BC, so he's in there and everyone is doing really well...

sorry for a minor hijack as these beautiful fish...clown loach can get huge but it takes a very long time. I have one that is 6 year old and only 5-6 inch long... in a 50 gallon tank so may still be an option in wanted
