Starfire

Hi. I am pretty new to reefing and have noticed all the experienced people are always talking about starfire tanks.

I would like to know what exactly is starfire? Why is it so good? Thank you for your help.

"Starfire Glass" is special because it has less "lead" content than other glass, giving it more optical clarity than ordinary glass. regular glass has a green tinting to it. it doesn't distort as much around corners etc...

its both lead free and low iron, the lack of lead is why it is so clear though :)
