It's not a typo. They're usually around 1k U.S I believe.

This is the first one I've seen for sale locally since I've been in the hobby. =)

When these first became available 2 were sold in the US for $3100 each definitely have come down in price

too expensive for a guy like me but i know a fella here that has one and it is a really nice looking fish. it's crazy to think that in this hobby that probably doesn't even top 10 in terms of expense.

1500 for a fish that you might see once every week at night time....too rich for my blood.

Peppermint Angelfish...

Those prices are insane! I start sweating when I pay $50+ for fish or corals.

I seen candy basslets on divers den last year going for $699 us so this seems steep but I guess they could have jumped up in price . Not really a $1500 fish IMO

Yeah, I've never seen them at such a high price in Canada. Especially considering our dollar is so much better right now than it has been.

They're pretty cryptic, but they're not that bad! Have you seen one in person? They are IMO one of the most beautiful reef fish in the ocean. Earlei Fairy Wrasse have similar coloration (similar price too haha), but not quite as bright. Nice option for a stripey fish though. :)

they are very cool fish you end up seeing them cruising through the rocks quit a bit , they just aren't the up at the front of the tank type . Wouldn't mind having one but I like small ornamental shrimp more ie bumble bee / anemone shrimp .
