Dangle it upside down out of water and peel away at it with a credit card. They're practically indestructible

I've had it take up to 4 days lol

The credit card comment works well also just as long as it isn't in a hole

we tried the point the blower trick and it ended up in the blower the next night... best is to completely disturb the rock hes on (move it out in the open or in complete darkess, whichever is opposite) and cover up the intake on your blowers, check on him at night and you will find hes loose or wandering...

Or you can just rub its foot until it lets go. If you can get to it of course. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes sometimes it takes 20, but if you can rub even a tiny bit of the foot it will work. in my experiences anyway

Ice cube on the foot, or an air pump with the air hose bubbling on the foot
