FS/FT: Gold head sleeper goby

My 5" gold head sleeper goby is getting thin as there is not much food in the sand and I don't run a refugium.

Looking to trade for fish or coral. Let me know what you have.
Or $20 obo

you will need to have an established sand bed for it to feed on.

Not eating mysis or other meaty foods? Any sign of disease? I only have a 32g cube, but my fuge runs really well. If nobody can take him I suppose I will.

He is eating everything including mysis, pellet and flake food. But he is outcompeted by other fish in the tank and there isn't much food in the sand for him to filter with. I had him for 5 months now, he is just kept getting thinner.

I have never had any luck with these fish, they have really neat personalities but don't seem to survive in captivity even in my well established 100g and despite eating mysis everyday.

One goby that does do well for me is Randal goby, paired with a pistol shrimp I have kept the same guy for 6 years now. Lots of personality as well, he is my canreef avatar.

I hate to see the industry continue to sell fish that don't survive, but perhaps there are people out there who have had success with it?
