I am curious as to what type of hitchhikers you found on your new live rock when brought home.
Bad or good lets hear it and photos if any...

Sitting around the house all day being sick...watching my system as I have 2 crazy crabs (gorilla<) need gone and cannot get them out ...the only thing left is fishing them out as they been there for a long time and they are roughly 2.5" big.

Not my photo but larger and meaner

No hitchhikers but pest anemones, bubble alage & red carpet quickly took over my last batch of fiji dead rock.

So I just received one box of new stuff for my new tank. Seriously thinking of getting more and throwing all my other out. Of course problem is cycling and a couple encrusted corals.

Hope you like the new shipment..yes it requires curing and if needed I could offer you my curing method.
As to your old rock you could dry it then recycle with rock from a fellow reefer trustee in your area for seeding your new rock.PHOTOS is a must ..lol..

What do I need to seed my new rock with? All it needs is to become bacterial active to process ammonia and nitrite, anything else is a pain.....no?

Well you its good to have a diverse of bacteria from other rock or you could wait till you get frags and colony corals to seed some more.(be always careful of what and from where you add your pieces)
