Just wondering if anybody in the west has ordered from frag box and if so, what was your experience?

I have had ordered 3 times and was happy all 3 times . Pics were accurate and great packaging on the shipment

Fragbox is top notch. No issues with an order to Vancouver.

Agreed partially with the above. Pictures are accurate and customer service is prompt and polite. The only problem I have with them is receiving the wrong coral on almost every shipment. Not sure if this is intentional on their part but it's working for them and I keep coming back. I've ordered half a dozen times and every time there is one or more pieces that are completely different from what I ordered. Excuse is that " the staff packed it and I wasn't there". A credit is given but now I didn't get the piece I wanted and that shipping cost is no longer worth the trouble. I've emailed complaining about the mix up but it doesn't seem to be any better on the order I just received this week, two frags were wrong. I do appreciate the free pieces now and again but I still expect to receive the pieces I paid for. Not sure if people have experienced this with Fragbox?

Ive dealt with them twice and would have more but his photos keep me away.

First time was good, everything came as it should but one SPS was RTN in the bag. Sent a photo and March gave a refund no issues.

Second time it was -30 and the heat packs failed. When the corals arrived the water in the bag was 10C. Emailed Marh and said to keep an eye on it, if they die he would warranty. Based on my previous experience I believe he would have but didnt need to. It took a few months but both have pulled through.

I would have ordered a couple times but looking at some of the photos he has posted on FB I can tell they are edited beyond what the coral would look like in my tank. I would rather buy a coral and have it look better in my tank than the other way around. This is what has stopped me from buying again.

I just recieved an order recently.

I'm doing another order soon, because I have some credits due to my last order.

Not sure if I will order again after that.

Just to follow up.
My "replacement" order came in fine.
Packaging was much better than the first time around, but that's not saying much.

And I very recently recieved a decent sized order from them.
Everything came in alive (One frag dislodged from plug, and one frag had a bit of STN on base.). 2 heat packs in the box.
Everything looks happy.

Would I order from them again? Yes.
Critism: would hope to see better packing in future.
Compliment: majority of sps frags were large sized. No nubs.

Not sure what the norm is, as I have limited online livestock purchasing experience. However I have recieved several orders from another outfit that had top notch packing. So that is what I use to compare.

Long story short: they have redeemed themselves in my eyes, and would have no problem ordering from them again!
