*BULK ADDITIVES* - Ca, Alk, Mag, Kalk!!!

Hi guys! Thanks so much for your patience as we get setup! We've been busy getting lots of products on the shelves and setting the site up. We're pretty excited about it and should be ready to launch in the next week or two. We'll keep you posted in advance!

We have also been working tirelessly, with several companies, for over 6 months now, sourcing, mixing and testing high purity, pharmaceutical grade bulk additives. And we've finally got them all sorted, in stock and will be loading them onto the website this week.
We'll be doing a few 'product demonstration' videos later on too (not super professional ones though, so don''t get too excited :)). Here's a quick rundown of what we've got:

ALKALINITY:
Soda Ash (Sodium Carbonate)
Sodium Bicarbonate
Both mix crystal clear within minutes.

CALCIUM:
Calcium Chloride - No exothermic reaction (it doesn't heat the container up when mixing).
Kalkwasser Powder (Calcium Hydroxide) - An oldy but a goody.

MAGNESIUM:
Magnesium Sulfate
Magnesium Chloride
These mix together to form a crystal clear solution with no sediment, which means it doesn't need stirring before it's added to the aquarium and you can add it straight to your dosing pump line up.

I'll get some pictures up soon! So far all are available in 1/2 gallon and 1 gallon containers. If anyone is interested in 5 gallon pails, let us know!
Full details on each item will be available on the website. Links will be posted once the site is up!

Is the calcium chloride anhydrous or dihydrate?

Duckhams 05-29-2015 12:02 PM

It's a dihydrate. It mixes clear much faster than the anhydrous and without any sediment or insoluble impurities left over.
