Radion LED Need a little help

1 Attachment(s)
Hey everyone, not sure where to post this but i thought I would try here.
So I'm new to LED lighting and i just got the radion xr15 pro on a 24.5"x20"x20" red sea reefer 170 tank. My question is what intensity should i be running them at? at the moment i have a 2 week acclimation set at 45% then going up to 55%.
I have some zoa's, paly's, hammer coral, candy cane, one mushroom, Green bubble tip, birds nest, monti cap, favia, and one other acro.

any suggestions would be awesome and appreciated.

What did you have for lighting before this?

i had an 18" orbit marine led fixture on this tank other than that i have only ever used T5. I have the radion set to the high growth preset at 45% and cut back to 5 hours of max/45% intensity

I'm not familiar with the XR15, just the XR30, does it have a "deepwater" setting or something close to that name? I can't remember for sure the name, but whatever it is, that's my favorite setting. It's on the blue side. Be wary of cooking your corals with white lighting. Even the blues will cook them if you're not careful. High growth sounds like more white than blue. I'm not familiar at all with the Orbit fixture, but I would be thinking the Radion will have higher output. I'd probably leave the Radion at 45% for a couple weeks and see if you get any signs of bleaching, then adjust it yourself rather than relying on the Radion to do it. I wouldn't go up more than 3-5% per week after the first 2 weeks of adjustment.

I have mine at 45% and it's 13". Yours is 20" so I would day 65% as a random guess. Orbit marine are pretty week so make sure to acclimate them over a few weeks to ease them into brighter light

I did some PAR testing last week and posted the readings on my build thread if it helps. Link below in my sig.
