Overflow plumbing question
 
Hey,

Looking for feedback if its ok to run overflow drain plumbing like this...

Yes
Because the display is higher than the sump, so gravity will pull water down to the sump. Doesn't matter that the U part at the sump is full of air, the water in the display is higher than the U, so water will flow.
Until the pipe where it says overflow, sucks air.

You will create a toilet flush effect everytime that pipe fills up with water and a full siphon will follow. Thats pretty much what a toilet bowls plumbing is like.
