submersible light for fuge

Hey guys,

I am looking at moving my tank to a biocube, and would like to turn one of the chambers into a fuge. A lot of people use a submersible light for this. Any ideas of where I can get one locally (home depot, walmart, etc), and what to look for?

I use automotive led strips from Princess Auto. I think they have 15 leds, are available in white, red, blue. Power them with a small wall wart. Seems to work OK.

I'm looking for something fairly small as the chamber that the fuge will be in isnt very big. Possibly one bright led or light. I'm not very good at DIY either, so hoping to get something I can just drop in and plug in.

they can get you one in any size MH you want, and the picture in the top right is the newest model.

The led's are small. They are about 1/2"x1/2" by 8" long. It's not a tough DIY. Cut the plug off the wall wart twist the wires onto the wires on the led strip, cover with electrical tape and plug it in. Shouldn't take more than a minute or two. The led strips have a cord about 6 feet long so no problem with water and the connections.

If memory serves me correctly I believe someone on this site (Fish?) used this light here:

to add a chaeto chamber to his canister filter.

That would be awesome. Know of any stores that sell this or something similar?

This looks similar and it's a Canadian site.

If you don't want to order online I suggest checking your local pond supply store or perhaps a pool store?
