How do you peeps keep them smaller?? The Zoa's I have are taking over my tank LOL. I mounted them on large rocks, and am not sure how to "Thin" them out? I would like to maintain them in smaller patches. That and some, the stems are now close to 2" in length :o

It depends on the species of zoanthid. Zoas will tend to be shorter and smaller in diameter. Palys tend to be longer with a larger diameter. Possible I suppose that your zoas are "stretching" towards the light. One method I have used is to glue a rock in the path of your spreading zoas, when they creep on to the "barricade" rock, you pop the rock off and sell or trade it....or give it to me:twised:

[quote=Scythanith;405905]Haahaa. Honestly most of my nice stuff comes from Bayside Corals here in Saskatoon and from Dave at Wickedfrags. QUOTE]

I'm heading to Saskatoon end of June...looks like I'll need to bring some extra cash with me by the looks of it

Yes, I need more Oyster shells for them to grow unto. Maybe they Paly's then?? If they are stretching to the light, which is what it appears, A brighter light should settle them down, no? have 2 175W MH coming to replace the 4 tube 24W TEK
