Thanks for responding... I don’t think it’s a bubble as it only has one layer of tips but this thing got really large fast ( 2 1/2”). But I think my rock flower sent it packing and the next day it was on the other side of the tank half it size. Are they considered pests? It’s not much to look at...I know nothing about them. It kinda reminds me of the larvae that comes outta the egg in the ‘Aliens’ movies series...

When I look at it on first glance it appears to be bubble tip anemone of some sort. Especially if it’s moving around.

I believe manjano only get to be about an inch or so in size.

If it is a manjano they are considered very bad pests as they spread very quickly in the tank. I do not know if they move around, however you may have more than one of them which would explain in multiple places in your tank.

I would keep a close eye on it especially if you do not have any bubble tip anemones in your tank so therefore no reason to have a small one.

It is definitely not an Aiptasia

I have 4 of them. And they definitely move. I’ve only ever had 4 in different areas of the tank (about a year). I initially thought they were bubble tips too but as the one got bigger it just didn’t look the same as on the web. Maybe I’ll just wait and see what happens. I’m still new to this hobby...
