The beauty of this devise over a standard refractomer is its ease of use, no more peering through an eye glass trying to focus in on what your all important salinity level is.

The unit comes with 3 modes

Specific gravity.

This is another advantage over the refractometer, to get accurate readings the water sample must be at the same temperature as the devise, with the Aqua Mate you have a built in temperature reading to inform you of your testing sample.
