I went after a bidding for this cam in ebay but damn some people are just desperate and bid prices higher than MRP!

Coleus 12-04-2012 10:20 PM

you should get it from foscam so you still get their support and warranty. you won't get that from ebay seller

kien 12-04-2012 10:22 PM

I just ordered 4 of them from their website! :-D (Don't ask where the 4th one is going to go.. this is a family site)

That is so cool. Hey Tai, if one of your kids bump the camera towards the couch, we can privately spy on you. :twised:

True that :D

I particularly like the movement option for these cams + the night vision. But somehow, fishes get freaked out by spot LEDs :| I got this underwater cam and it has leds around the lens and MY GOD I never saw my clowns get freaked out that way :O The female tried to dig into the sand

Maybe the leds being outside and inside the water play for this factor.

subman 12-04-2012 10:41 PM

what not working? my site or your cam? My site is only up during days due to privacy protection and bandwidth

to get your foscam works on your iphone, I use foscam Pro and it works like a cham

subman 12-05-2012 01:43 PM

Your Site Wasn't working on my android phone. I'll try later today maybe it was time. I could log in but then the next screen asked for log in credentials again and wouldn't accept them.

molotov 12-05-2012 02:11 PM

I can't get logged into your camera either.

I use Dlink camera's. They're ok but pretty expensive for what you get.

Seriak 12-05-2012 02:17 PM

Man I am thinking of buying one or more now. But I can't access it either. I am guessing he has it turned off atm.

Well Kien can you at least make sure that you dont close your Bedroom window then I hate sitting on the high branch in that tree. I would rather use a ladder.

Coleus-

Just out of curiosity the website says it utilizes a standard safari browser no app necessary. In your original post you mentioned an i-phone app?

RPatsula 12-05-2012 03:56 PM

I cannot get your site work as well. I was just curious as to what camera model you purchased. My aquarium is set up using Radeon LED lights and when I tried to view it using a WebCam it looked extremely blue. Are you experiencing the same issue with your IP-based camera.

Thanks
Rick

Skimmerking 12-05-2012 04:05 PM

its asking for a authentication required

Skimmerking 12-05-2012 04:46 PM

is there a discount code too to make it sweeter before i buy it just asking

Coleus 12-05-2012 07:04 PM

alright it is on again,

you can view the webcam with browser or use iphone app :-).

There is no app install if you know what you are doing .

Coleus 12-05-2012 07:06 PM

also if you want to cheap out, the camera is on sale on amazon.com for $62 dollars (today only) and only ship to US so you have to use mail forwarding service.

Seriak 12-05-2012 08:37 PM

I think it depends how you are going to use it. If you get HD version, wireless may not be a way to go because of amount of data have to transfer, thus the video may get very choppy . If you have wired connection and you don't need to access from your 3G network on your phone then it probably worth the money. Good luck with your decision

Seriak 12-06-2012 01:35 AM

After some research it looks as if the HD is not as refined as the model you have.

Now I have to decide between foscamcanada.com or foscam.ca the first one has free shipping and a 15% off sale. Thanks for the live demo.

ddarkz 01-06-2014 09:56 PM

Amazon.ca sells these in packs, you get a better discount.
