Fragalot group order? Lower mainland area
 

Hey guys,

Just looking to see if anyone in the areas interested in another fragalot group order? I've got a good chunk of rock thats a little emtpy, I think it needs more coral.

Please no "I hate fragalot" posts, theres already one going for that in another section. Just looking for a few others who might want to go in on an order so we can hit the free shipping mark ($300). I'm more then happy to help facilitate everything, I'm home during the day any way.

I have some credit from the previous order so I'm down for this if everyone else is. I might make a couple of new purchases but I'll have to see what's new on the site first.

I know I can pick out $300 for myself but I would rather save some of that for other stuff. We should be able to hit the mark with 3-4 people. Hoping to do this, this month!

I would PM burc in regards to new corals. He often has a lot more then whats actually listed, and often doesn't seem to update the site at all when orders come in. Just need to get on the e-mail list for new stuff.

Thats 3 so far. Hoping for 2 more or so then we can get the ball rolling.

Dont forget to e-mail burc for stock updates.

I also have DOA credit from the last group order, so I'm in if you guys hit $300. I'm not thinking to order at this time.

Had a few drop-outs. Looking for 1 or 2 more people depending how much their interested in getting.

I would be tempted to join as they have some great looking stuff but I am yet to hear a positive comment about that place.

Perhaps someone could change my opinion?

i find the lps to be pretty much bang on every time, everything else was either dead or wrong/substituted.

3-4 orders in a row, very successful. I only order LPS colonies, no frags which I think helps a great deal. The real key to success in my mind is keeping the order to three people or less..

It seems to be the SPS that cause issues (50/50 on zoas). All my LPS have been stunning, bang on right coral, usually more heads then advertised, even bonus frags. Any DOA's have been credited immediatly, even if they died a week after arrival. I've only ever had 1 issue regarding contact and that was recently because he got a new e-mail address and I was contacting the old ones. You will also get more out of Burc if you talk NICELY rather then insulting him if 1 thing shows up dead or you're weary because of what other people say online.

whoa those green acans are legit, what are they called?

The 3rd picture are Nuclear Acans, the 5th picture are Toxic acans.... I think, I dont actually remember which ones which hah!

EDIT:
Hmm appearently when they arrived it was the other way around, the solid green ones are the toxic, the others with more dark colour are the nuclears. I never paid much attention, I just wanted lime green acans :D

has anyone gotten large lps like brains or lobos?

Those are really nice looking stuff. I went in a group order with Flash (Lyndsy) this spring and had no issues. Even got a free torch coral with my order. I think with the entire order only one or two pieces were DOA. I can't back it up but it seems like group orders go better with Fragalot than small individual orders.

I've also had great success with his Acan frags.

I'll probably order more Acans & maybe some torch this gb.

And yes, polite communications goes a long way with Burc.

that sucks I didn't see this post and I just made a $275 order on sunday just waiting to here back

got my order and I can say every thing is amazing. My lobo doesnt look very good but they threw a few extra in so I cant complain. But all my lps and zoas look amazing.

Order came in yesterday.

Next time maybe! I know I will be going in for more, but probably not again until spring when we can start to trust the weather again.

I sort of ran out of room in the tank for everything I ordered and had to make en egg crate frag rack and shove it in the back corner of the tank so cant see much of anyone thats on there.

I picked up the frags from your place Thursday night and took them to Anthony's, the five acans I got are looking good so far. Still waiting for them to colour up more and I'm sure they will. Thanks for doing the ordering.

Funny how now that the order is over, I'm getting all sorts of people who aren't reading through the thread and are asking to join in on the order.

I hope none of your corals were damaged. FedEx was tossing the box around a bit. The guy had it on its side and was tossing it in his hands like you would with a very heavy ball as he walked up the driveway. I think he thought I was nuts as I made him stand in front of me as I tore the box open to make sure everything still looked okay.

And it still worked out just fine with me not even being there to give you the coral.

My replacements were amazing and I even got a extra 3 head acan as a bonus.

My only complaint is in regards to the fact I should have ordered more... hehe

I have had an impossible time trying to contact Burc this order. After numerous emails, he responded once confirming I did have some credits to use up. On October the 3rd, I asked him about the availability of some corals and if he could include them or any similar substitutes because I didn't want to hold up the order. I heard nothing from him so I assumed I missed the deadline and they were shipped out on the original planned date.

He has responded promptly in the past so I don't know what was up this time. If you had any unclaimed extra frags maybe they were mine. I'll try to contact him again but I did only make contact once after trying his new email, old email and the website, so I don't hold out much hope.
