Also hear people using powder from health store.

Ya, I heard that 2 but thought it would be safer and simpler to use liquid.

I think it would be cheaper for using powder.

I'm using ascorbic acid powder from the pharmacy nothing added just straight powder.

I have been using sodium ascorbate from Iherb for a year and half now and it's doing a good job.

I don't dose a lot though, just a little and I started dosing nopox as well and the two seem to work well together.

What does this do for a tank? I've never heard of this before.

And what is nopox?

im using walmart brand vit c tablets (500mg) ya its got other crud in it but ive seriously noted new growth with my zoas since i started .

what kind of levels are people dosing at (ie. grams per gallon?).

Im 500 mg a day , in a 15 gal tank

My system is 53 total gallons and I am dosing a 1/8tsp not sure how many grams that is

Im not sure about the dosing amounts , but it will depend on if your using pure vC or flintstones chewables

LOL, I guess I'll have to go see what I can hunt up around here. I guess I can find some more "pure" stuff at the health food store?
