I think my peacock mantis needs a new tank mate, and he fits in perfectly.

Abe 10-06-2011 05:12 AM

I don't think I will be eating this thing. anyone interested to take him for his mentis in the Edmonton area and let nature take its course lol.

Thats one big a$$ crab, you must have some huge hiding spots in your rock...

Abe 10-06-2011 05:26 AM

yea I do, I guess its been there for about 2 years without showing himself. that's why when I set my 230G I will be starting from dry rocks. No more buying live rocks.

kien 10-06-2011 05:36 AM

What sort of damage was he causing? Just curious :-)

Delphinus 10-06-2011 05:43 AM

You can always just toss him in the sump and let him clean up detritus down there...

Use the rocks that you already have and then buy dry rock for the rest. This is a good way to seed the new rock, and be pest free. That's assuming of course that your existing rock is now pest free.

Nicely done Abe!!! If you cant find a place for him, I have multiple sumps at the store he can call home!

Steve

Definitely donate him to someone that has a crab muncher or a sump. I wouldn't let that thing anywhere near my system again! Good catch!!

Lampshade 10-06-2011 05:41 PM
