Our Display Tank is Up and Running!!!

Hey all, FINALLY our display tank is up and running!!!! Not the 300gallon, but a 265gallon, fully stocked SPS, LPS and softies and it is 100% GHL Profilux geared out the ying yang , a massive DIY LED lighting build and a 90gallon refugium. The fish we have in it are Hippo-Regal Tang, Yellow Tang, Sailfin Tang, Purple Tang, Achilies Tang , Kole Tang, Powder Blue Tang, Anthias school, School of flasher wrasses, Breeding pair of Black ocellaris clowns, midas blenny, target Dragonette, scooter dragonette, Flame angel, Midnight angel, Royal Gramma and a sharknose cleaner goby. The refugium has 5 anenomes, and a chainlink moray eel (it's still up for debat if it is infact that species of moray). Stop by for a look, it is pretty awesome. The tank is on day 4 of setting it up after the HUGE move, 6 full truck loads, of gear and 100% of the original water(or dam near). Since the move a few SPS smaller colonies had to be fragged and one mcKoskers flasher wrasse jumped from the holding tank, but all in all so far the loses have been minimal....knock on wood!!!! The tank it self is absolutly awesome, one of the nicest display tanks i personally have ever seen with my own eye balls. It nothing short of spectacular.Anyway stop by for a look. And an awesome GHL demo on this sweet ass system! And once the tank really settles in; in a month or so the colors will be even more incredible. YES pictures to follow in a week or so once the water is 100% clear.
Cheers Ronnie

PS, the old-well actually, brand new 300 deep dimension tank (the one we were going to use as our diplay) is for sale! And there was quite a few of you asking about that. $3000.00 takes the whole thing tank and custom stand!

I LUV IT, that's pretty much what i do too; minus the popcorn. I have my big comfy office chair and i park it in front of the tank for short bursts through out the day! but hell i'll bring in the micrwave popcorn, it goes good with the palm bay's
The tank is clearing up great, a couple more of the small sps frags have rtn'ed but i'd say all in all the move went good. Pictures to come next week!!!
And i found one of the missing zebra dartfish in the holding tanks-they look very happy to be back together. Stay tuned!!!!
Cheers Ronnie:biggrin:

Dropped by this afternoon and I have to say that the tank looks great! I certainly like the rock arrangement and the fish looks very happy. Can't wait to see the tank load up with SPS! Even got a chance to play with the lights and seeing the lightning effects (pretty cool)!

PHOTOS!!

Ok so I snapped off a few photos. This is a work in progress, there has been a TON of work getting this sucker dismantled, moved here and set back up. Aquascaping is sort of done, but coral placement isnt final and there are lots of tweaks to do.

Electrical... lots of work to be done still.
