Aiptasia or Mojanos getting you down????
Aiptasia and Mojanos getting you frustrated? Don't like or have success with the chemical solutions, try the newest gadget...Electronic Aiptasia and Mojano ZAAPPER! No need to turn pumps off, no more chemicals getting where you don't want them and its surprisingly therapeutic-nothing fixes a crappy day like watching nuisance aiptasia and Mojanos melt before your eyes.:surprise:
At $10-$15 for each box of aiptasia chemicals, which usually you need to restock for those dreaded "chemical survivors". So now for $80 you can zapp your way to a aiptasia and Mojano free tank. Check out our Progressive Reef Zapping video!!! No more aiptasia for us...yippee! Cheers Ronnie:biggrin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STnFyytnc5k |

I will let you know as soon as mine gets here first of the week.

Didn't work on shrooms for me. I ended up just ripping the big ones right off the rock, smaller ones are persistent though

I don't see why it wouldn't work on mushy's, we zapped a big green button polyp and it died just like the aiptasia did; We also zapped some green star polyps that were encrouching on other corals. Although it did take a bit more zapping do to the larger size of the polyps. Mushrooms and all soft corals would respond the same i would think, i wonder if you didn't zap yours long enough Chris? I will post some more videos of other corals getting zapped on thursday-when my camera man is here ;)

Hey Kev, no i don;t think so, as i have had it 'zapping' under water for many minutes at a time just on one HUGE aiptasia, then moved on to a new one in the same tank and 'zapped' that one for a minute or so with no bad or harmful results to other corals in the very near vicinity. I really don't think it would be an issue, as you are not using any chemicals, but rather a very low voltage of current.
