Need Some Help at J&L Tuesday 30th after 4pm
 

I'm buying 2 180g tanks from J&L. My friend Brad will be going to J&L sometime after 4pm to pick them up and load them into his van to bring them up to me. They weigh about 350lbs each. J&L can only spare 1 person to help load.

If anyone could give them a hand for me, send me a message and we can work out a time to meet. 2 more people would make it much easier on the bodies.

I will pay with frags, or maybe my 3" Sohal Tank, who needs a new home.

I am really suprised that J&L would not take care of this, considering they are selling the product... :confused:

I believe this was a "clearance special" and as such, that might be an excuse. I would expect that they help on normal purchases.

Lee, why didn't you respond to my posts about sending my camera case back? I offered twice to pay all your costs?

J&L did say they would have 1 person to help today, maybe they will be alone? I don't know how often they sell tanks this size. They are a pain in the ass when they get this heavy.

Here is the story from what I know now.

Tanks are still in old store, must be out by end of the month. So I guess I need a hand at the old store location. Plus John or Allen must open the store, that is why they only have 1 person available.

So the time depends on them, I will call them at 11 when they open.

My friend Brad J. has not been to the new store, but knows the old location well.

I PM'd all you guys who responded, and left my cell number, give me a call.

So the plan is for you guys to meet at 4pm an the new store and then head over with Allen to the old store and load the 2 tanks into Brad's White Safari Van.

So here are the pictures of the actual frags:

#1 is mounted, Orange Monty Cap, like lots of light, slow growing for me.
#2 Pink Milli, Jack gets first choice on this one mounted.
#3, 5 & 6 are the same green Monty with pink rim, will be darker under stronger lights. Only 6 is mounted, 3 looks small, but is nice.
#4 is another Milli, mounted
J is for Jack if he wants it now, or some other time.
#7 & #8 are the same Mushroom Leather, fallen pices from the main colony. Both mounted, #8 is the larger one.

#9 is Orange Monty Digi, I will break big pieces off, you mount your self.
#10 is Purple Monty Digi, I will break big pieces off, you mount your self.

So I should be on the 7:00PM boat from Nanaimo, getting into New West arround 9:00PM if the ferries are on time. You will have to meet me then to pick things up, I have no where to hold them.

so how do we pick them???how many do each of us get to pick?? If we re just calling it out then can I have #4 or 2 if jack does not want it.. and also number 7 or 8 doesnt matter which one.

That milli looks great. It's grown a lot in the few months since I gave it to you! I'd love to take that one back, it's a beauty. :mrgreen:

I wouldn't mind trying out the "J" one either, looks like it has potential.

Because, He gave me 2 fish when he moved and 6 corals. The pink milli was his, he lost the others in the move.
