Roger that

I managed to snag it from canadianreef.com on our group buy. I paid way too much for it but I couldn't pass it up

It's starting to duck away now, but I'm hoping its tentacles stay where I can see them.

Looks good mason... Wish I was home to see it in person before you picked it up.

Mason, mine hid for about 3 or 4 days before coming back out. Just give it time. Oh, and watch the powerheads!

Son Of Skyline 12-11-2003 07:11 AM

Hey Brad. Did yours settle into a spot first and then go for the PH?

Yup. Stayed put for about 10 days, and then moved. Any small change you make to lighting or flow might make it move. Screen all your pumps and overflows now, before it happens.

Son Of Skyline 12-11-2003 04:29 PM

Thanks. I'll do that. I have a green bta that settled in well and hasn't moved, but this rose has already dissapeared into the rockwork and looks like a mover.

Any tips on how to rose proof my overflow? I figure if I just put a screen over it, the rose could still get stuck to it.

Not sure. I moved mine to it's own tank with a foam overflow cover.

Son Of Skyline 12-12-2003 04:13 PM

Well it looks like he decided to move to the very back of the tank  . I can just see him through the coralline algae on the back glass catching just a bit of light. Man...i hope he comes out soon!

Aquattro 12-12-2003 04:40 PM

It'll come out.

Son Of Skyline 12-12-2003 04:52 PM

Right into my powerhead right?
