new tank help me pimp it out(2010/08/28)pics
36x18x20 left side overflow.
2xtunze 6025,s tunze 7023 return pump 625 gph. tunze top off. soon to have kalk reactor. calcium reactor soon to be on order. 65 lbs live rock but will get 30 more. 40 lbs live sand. sps only tank. euro reef skimmer(from my bro). lights i,ll need some help with. 2x250 mh with t5,s or 6x39watt t5,s help me out lets pimp my ride. lol thanks for looking. |

Forget the Ca reactor and kalk stirrer, go for a Profilux doser; go ATI or Sfiligoi for your T5HO lighting, and you'll be pimpin in no time.
Oh yeah, and go top down, that's right, go trimless. Oh yeah. |

Personally, I'd probably go for the following for 6 bulbs..
2x ATI Aquablue Specials 2x ATI Blue+ 1x KZ Fiji Purple For the last bulb it's really preference but you could do another Blue+ or even do a 6500k bulb. |
well got the tank today and i am very happy.
tec light showed up today. wife is not happy (lmao). i,ll post pic as soon as i can. for buld this is what i am going with. 2x giesemann aquablue+ 1x geisemann actinic 1x kz coral light 1x kz coral light ll 1x kz figi purple. i am still trying to find a calcium reactor. i have a kalk reactor. just waiting for new tunze top off as sensor was a dud on the one i bought. this build is going to be sweet so stuy tuned. |

tank is done! what a job.
well i could not get the zeovit reactor in my stand.( not enough room) so i switched to n/p reducing biopellets in a phosban reactor. i have to go get a 2nd phosban reactor for carbon today. i am going to dose with some zeovit goodies. 1-coral vitalizer 2-pohl,s xtra 3-amino acid concentrate lps 4-sponge power. i,ll start doseing in 2 weeks, as it takes 4-6 weeks to see results from the n/p. i am happy with the way things turned out, just need some sweet frags off dez! i,ll post some more pics tonight with carbon reactor running. |

just got my calcium reactor running just havr to dial it in. and i,am loading some new pocs. been 4 months and have had alot of growth. just need to find a blue stag maybe even purple. i need a bigger pump the tunze is not enough.. |

Wow there not kidding some of the best growth i have seen in one of your tanks. keep your eyes peeled i have been getting the itch for a bit now remember nothing smaller then 135 gal :)

That's coming along so nicely. That channel running into the rock is cool. How many corals are mounted to the face of that central rock? Almost looks like one...sorta growing downwards as well.
