North Shore Reef Network
 

So it seems that there is a great interest in putting together a Reef Network over toward the North Shore/Vancouver area like the folks out toward Surrey way. I've always wanted to go out there and join in but is a heck of a trek, so I'm bringing the idea home.

I am not limiting this to North Shore people. Anyone can come on out; as they say "The more, the merrier!".

If you are interested in this please either PM me or give a +1 here on the page and I'll PM you. I'll organize something for the very near future.

This is cool! I've got well over 20 people signed up. Dinner and tank tours are on the way! I am planning the first dinner for next week. If you have not yet done so, or are interested in coming, please go to the following link and check off when you are available.

It would probably take me no longer time to get to N. Vanc as it does to get down to the bottom of Surrey. I would probably come.

Hey everyone! Looks like we're going to do the first North Shore reef Network Dinner on January 20th, 2010 at 7pm. We will meet at Boston Pizza on Marine Drive. We will discuss a weekend for tank tours at the dinner. I hope to see everyone there!

That's the same night as the REAL Reef Network Dinner. So I will not be able to attend

It's great to see another Dinner being set up in a different part of the lower mainland. Maybe next month I'll be able to attend the north shore dinner depending on the date.

If you are refering to The Big Ridge, only one side of it is a pub...... and that is not the side we have our monthly meeting / dinners. We hold our reef network dinner on the restaurant side.:mrgreen:

So sorry, but work trumped my desire to come out to dinner to meet everyone. --- which really sucks, because I was REALLY looking forward to meeting everyone. Man; I hate owning a business sometimes!!!!!

Hope everyone had a great time tonight & not sure what the plan for a tank tour is,... or when,... but I would like to offer to host everyone at my place to make up for missing tonight. Anyway hopefully we'll catch you next time.

Same here. Work emergency struck at the wrong time again. Why these almost never happen during the regular business hours? Must be Murphy's law at work :cry: Anyway, I hope dinner was a success and there will be more to come.

Thanks for organizing the dinner.

Felicia, Richard, Sherry, & I had a great time. Good to meet everyone. Wish we were sitting a big round table though, so it would be easier to talk with more people.
