Which Vancouver store has best prices?
 

In regards to reef tank equipment, which store has the best prices? I'm wondering if I should go to King Ed, cuz I bought all my stuff from them before. But most ppl recommend J&L here.

If we had an LFS as cheap as J&L here in Alberta, we'd be golden.

J&L = both a MO and a LFS, but the LFS has MO prices. Not too shabby.

Both J&L and King Ed's have very decent prices, but J&L's products are of much higher quality IMO.

the only thing King ed's seems to beat J&L's prices is in the tanks.

King Ed's tanks are cheap...

Anyone know if the J&L prices posted on their website are their real store prices? Or are they MSRP?

Just pay them a visit and find out already!! (Honestly, do you really even need an excuse to visit a fish store?? :biggrin: ) I doubt you'll regret the drive.

The prices on the website are the same as the prices in the store.

Plus J&L carries some smaller items that are not on the web.

I seem to visit J&L daily. They think I have an addiction....

Just out of curiosity, but why do you want to go to the cheapest store you can find?

king ed's seem to have better prices on most items.
